Pals

In her ongoing effort to prevent me from finding her a nice home in the country, Sadie befriends another member of the family.

Not only does she sleep at the foot of Ben's bed but she allows Cece to pull and tug on her fur, much to Cece's great delight.

Well played Sadie, well played.

Dear Santa,

We have been very good this year. See? Pefect angels.

Really, with kids (and a dog) this well-behaved Mom has no excuse for not folding the laundry.

Love,
Cate, Ben, Maggie and Sadie

Friends.

Now that Maggie is eating at the high chair and has ample opportunity to toss Cheerios onto the floor, Sadie agrees that she was a good addition to our family.

Reason #173 Why We Will Never Get Rid of Sadie (even though I sometimes want to...)

#173: Ben loves her SO much.

I walked into the laundry room the other day and there was Ben, cuddled up next to Sadie, saying, "Good girl. Good girl."

(In my estimation, that sight probably compensates for at least 5 or 10 of the kids' socks that she's chewed up, swallowed, and then subsequently vomited on my floor over the past three years, right?)
